The unique design of the EB pig allows for a brushing or scraping action prior to the seal which helps in pushing deposits out ahead of the pig. This pig has two rows of spring loaded brushes. Polyurethane scraper blades may be substituted for the brushes.

The EBF pig has two rows of spring loaded brushes. It also has a universal joint for traversing tight radius bends.

The EBS pig has two rows of spring loaded brushes for better wall coverage and cleaning. Of all the EB pig styles, this pig allows for a transmitter to be mounted in the pig.
