The BA/BD pig design is the basic pig design. They are used primarily for separation, displacement and gauging. they can be fitted with cups, disc or combination of cups and disc. The cups and disc are available in neoprene or urethane. Aluminum gauging plates easily mount on this style pig to check roundness, excessive wear, welds or debris. Magnets may be mounted to the body for cleaning metallic debris from the line. Tracking equipment can be installed in 6" and larger sizes. Wrap around brushes or ring brushes may be added for heavy cleaning.
